I can imagine that Mueller is the nominee.

Definitely Mueller.
No one else is even really a possibility.

I like Pacioretty, Lupul, or Fleischmann for the award.

Wouldn't surprise me. Mueller, Fleishmann, Malhotra and Emery could all be finalists, but the media coverage of Pacioretty's injury will probably tip the scales in his favor.

They're my favourites as well, with Lupul leading the way.

Tootoo has been pretty open about his fight with substance abuse. I'm not sure the NHL wants to shine a spotlight on that. Getting injured and coming back is an easier thing to sell, I guess.

Wish it didn't always have to go to the player who suffered a major injury/ailment the season before. I get it, sometimes it's very much deserved (Saku Koivu) but it feels like the trophy now HAS to be given to someone like that.
Pacioretty? No. Hell no.
I wouldn't mind a guy like Alfredsson or St. Louis winning it. What two guys better exemplify a "player who best exemplifies the qualities of perseverance, sportsmanship, and dedication to ice hockey"?

I think Mueller would be a of great selection because he can easily be pointed as "This is how concussions in NHL works and you can also come back from there".
But I wouldn't bet that Mueller wins.
