I too have been inspired to spend a bit more time here with the recent influx of irritation and outflow of quality posters on STLToday. I'd imagine I'll still spend a fair amount of my Blues time over there, but it's been more and more frustrating to be sure.
Up till now, I've mostly used hfboards to try and get a read on starting goalies and lines for fantasy purposes.
Glad to be here. I don't want to stop using StlToday, as it is still a good source of information and still has lots of good posters. I'm hoping it's just a temporary ban, as I do still enjoy posting there, even if it's gone downhill lately.
There's a thread over there now that is trying to get me unbanned, started by caw, no clue if that will help though. We'll see. Even if I get un-banned, I do plan on being here more now, even in the 2 days of being here, I can tell it's a quality spot.
I was completely amazed when I saw that you had been banned for that post beatoni as I had actually told you many times that you were one of my favorite posters over there and obviously one of the most respected as the number of petition posts in caw's thread shows. Hopefully that site will see how they jumped the gun on you and get you back there so that you are able to share your hockey insights at both sites.
Besides that, look at all the cool emoticons that they have over here!
I read that thread and am interested to know why people are claiming I am banned. I left on my own after getting sick of Mike "Richard" Smith and of all the trolling jerks (mainly who came over from the official forum), so unless Smith has banned me since I last looked at my posts I am not banned.
Anyway, it's great to see some of the quality posters coming over here.
Mark me down as a refugee. If anyone asks, the straw that broke the camel's back was a poster suggesting Sobotka needs to be tried as a defenseman in the playoffs.

Only thing I dont like over here is they take the FTP threads as derogatory, and they are not allowed. I got my hand slapped for that once, and havent done it sense. It is kind of nice to just go to bed after a game, instead of going through 50 pages of other teams stuff. lol
I've decided to give these forums a try after getting sick of wading through all of the bickering at STLToday. I'll likely frequent both sites, as it gives me that much more reason to avoid working.
Finally created an account over here, have primarily been on stltoday's Blues talk for a few years. but I have a question about the setup that I hope someone can help me with. Under my username, but above my avatar, it says "rookie user". How do I change that to say what I want it to?
