C'est un mal pour un bien.
In other words, short term pain for long term gain. The draft is crucial, especially in our current position.
Nobody wants Montreal to lose at heart, but if you look at it logically it does absolutely no good to win at this point.

You're very probably right but I don't want the Bruins to get as much as a sniff of the Rangers' exhaust pipe. It's bad enough to see them leading the division. It makes their fans think they're living right.

I don't want to take any chances. I think Cunneyworth should rest the first line.

Sitting first in the conference I think we should rest our top players.
Wait, we're not the Montreal Rangers ?
Habs lose some, then if the last game of the season doesn't mean anythning then we can thump the leafs like every other team.

Same here, Molson coming out the way he did yesterday really gives me hope going forward. I was getting scared latelly, especially when people were saying don't be surprised to see Gauthier back
Glad Mr. Molson did what he did and taking a new direction with this hockey club. Let's now hope he puts his words into action. I believe he will

It's such a crucial game because clearly the waffles have given up and do not give a ****. God I hated Toronto standings the whole freaking year except the 2-3 weeks span after all-stars break.

Habs have a tendency to dominate NYR in Montreal, but lose at MSG. I expect the team is going to come out hard after the Gauthier firing, but Rags should be able to get the match-ups they want, which is why they'll win.
Line-up I'd like to see:
Bourque - DD - Cole
Pacioretty - Plekanec - Leblanc
Geoffrion - Eller - Palushaj
Staubitz - Blunden - White
Nokelainen sits.
Seriously, RC needs to get Geoffrion into the line-up. I don't understand what's going on there. Palushaj also deserves a look on the 3rd line with Eller. I doubt RC splits the DD line, but he should.
It's garbage time people. The kids (Leblanc, Palushaj & Geoffrion) should be playing minutes.
I'd also like to see these D pairings: Emelin - Subban,
Markov - Gorges, Campoli - St. Denis.
Habs lose 4-1. DD with the lone goal.

I laugh at the thought of the Habs and Leafs drafting in the top five
