Actually I'd rather sit him against Boston and/or Philly (assuming we win tonight.) Considering we're likely to have 4 days off after the final regular season game vs. the Caps I think he should get a little work the last couple of games of the season (vs. Pitt and Wash.) Having a week off heading into the playoffs might be too much time.

We seem to play MTL well at home. It's there that we suck. Should win this one tonight, LGR!

Given a choice, I'd rather lose to Philly than Montreal. For us, two points is two points, no matter where we get it, but I'd prefer that Philly have the home-ice advantage on the dangerous Pittsburgh team.

Plus, I would rather play it safe and take my two points in Montreal because we have enough of a lead on Pitts. If we win tonight, we'd need to win one of 4 games and have Pitts lose one of 5 games to hold on to the first place. That's easy enough, but first we must not let tonight slip.

A win tonight will make me feel much better about clenching the 1st seed. After this one, 4 tough games coming up.

We got 112 points in 1994. If we go 3-1-1, we'll match it. Granted we now get points for OTLs, but it would still be nice to match that season.

I say enough of resting Hank. He got his rest already. It's time to start rolling with him.

And a big **** no to starting him against Philly or Boston.

It's funny we'll be seeing the same reactions on both boards regardless of the scoreline.

Torts is anything but superstitious.

I think he means the difference in being 1st overall in the league vs 2nd overall in the league doesn't matter that much if second place is in the other conference, because the chances of you losing home ice advantage in the finals is pretty slim

Not really... Instead of "Lets go Rangers" you go "Thanks for McDonagh". It's quite easy.

Totally doesn't rhyme. It would sound totally dumb.

Either chant, "Mc-Don-Agh" or chant, "Thanks for Gomez."

I hope Danny G. gets the Stephen McDonald award. Speaking of Steve, that guy totally pumps me up every time he speaks.

Rangers - 2 syllables
McDonagh - 3 syllables

I'm not saying it can't be done, but it would be hard to get a large group saying it the same way.

You kind of combine "Thanks" and "for" together. It's easy. If everyone got in rhythm, it would sound perfectly fine and normal. If I could send a voice file, I would show you exactly what I mean and how fine it sounds.

Why would WE chant "Thanks for Gomez"? We traded him lol. More like "Thanks for taking Gomez"

"Thanks for taking Gomez and giving us the exclusive negotiating rights to Doug Janik"

That's a chant. I think we're cooking now.

I think the Habs fans have suffered enough with Gomez. No need to rub it in IMO.

I hate Hab fans more than anything. They will never suffer enough and there is plenty of reason to rub it in.

If anything, Habs fans would probably join us in the "GO-MEZ" chant
