But seems like it'd make sense. Decent enough size to make you think that they could support a hockey team, but too far west for the OHL and too far east for the WHL. Probably would be a good fit for either the ECHL or AHL, though if I had to guess it might be better off as an AHL market.
They had a UHL team back in the day. Not the first year i've heard the name thunder Bay thrown around. To get into the A though someone would have to be willing to house their team in Thunder Bay.
Phoenix??? Hopefully not an ECHL team to be, the league already tried it with the Roadrunners.
