Renaud Lavoie with a re-assuring Kristo update:
http://legrandclub.rds.ca/profils/60.../137628/public
Quote:
In short, Kristo will sign with us IF he comes out of school.

That's good to hear, though if he does decide to stay at UND for another shot at an NCAA championship...I hope he is a man of his word when the time comes.

Kristo wants to sign with us. Even if he plays another year for UND, which he is undecided on yet, he wants to sign with us.

Which is ABSOLUTELY NOT what this article is saying. It says IF he decides to forego his senior year, then his intention is REALLY to sign with us. But there's NOTHING in there that suggest that he'll sign with us if he plays another year.

Never in my recollection can the Habs use the infusion of a talent like Kristo to join the cause.

Gauthier was told he was fired on Monday by Molson.
They still managed to sign Pateryn on Tuesday.
Signing Kristo shouldnt be an issue for Carriere

Yeah, it's not that hard to put together an ELC. Just need to negotiate the bonus amount.

Giants down 3-1, mid-3rd. Gallagher with the lone goal. So it looks like they'll be down 3-2.
Honestly, I sort of hope they lose the series. The sooner Gallagher joins Hamilton, even if their games are meaningless, the better.

If they lose on Sunday why not bring him up for our final 3 games before sending him to Hamilton?
I need a reason to watch those.

I believe we can't use him, even though he has an ELC, since we are at 50 contracts but I could be wrong.

Isn't his one of the 50 contracts? What I mean is, his contract is one of the 50 on our list, which means he should be fine to go to Hamilton.

Nope.
http://www.capgeek.com/reserve_lists...2&year_id=2011
As you can see, that's 53 contracts...with 3 in yellow being Gally, Bourny and Tinordi as their contracts ''slided''.

We give him an ATO for this year and he can play. Wont be an issue if they want him in Hamilton.
Only thing we cant do is put him in the NHL for a game.
Pateryn would have done the same (ATO for AHL) if he didnt want to stay to finish his degree.

I knew about the ATO to play in Hamilton, but the question was about using him in the NHL in the final week.

Does anyone know how Pribyl is doing? I've heard he is used both on the PP and PK which is a good sign but I'm wondering if anyone knows any details on how he's developing.

Gallaghers 5 goals and 5 assists in 5 games is pretty impressive.

He's lost in the woods... no one knows where he is: the Czech AHL or the Extraliga or who knows where. Was pretty pissed he couldn't come and play in the Q.

He's playing in the Czech U-20 Playoffs right now, has 5 goals and 7 points in 5 games.

And that's it for Gallagher's WHL career. 3-1 loss, he was blanked tonight.
Hamilton awaits you, young man.
