Salary Cap Keeper Pool Help?

Hey All,

Just wanted to know your thoughts on who I should keep in my fantasy pool this year. Our pool is strictly a salary capped points based pool in which I have to keep 4 forwards, 2 Dmen & a goalie.

My 2 Dmen & goalie are set (Buff & Enstrom & Howard)

Now the tough decision on who to keep as forwards:
Stamkos - 7.5 Mil - Obvious pick
Skinner- 1.3 Mil - Obvious Pick

Now the decision:
Stepan - Under a mil for 1 year
Sharp - 5.5+ Mil long term
Read - Under a mil next two years
Henrique- Under a mil next two years
Weiss - 3 + Mil next couple years

Now who do you keep is your next too? Factoring salary, age & potential in 2012?

I'm leaning to Henrique & Stepan

Thoughts?

I would agree, Stepan & Henrique.

Good luck in your endeavors.

Sharp and one of the young guns. Even though he's expensive, you can't just give up his type of production.

My only question becomes is it worth keeping Sharp at 5.9 for Stepan or Read under a mil..

Grrrrr tough calls

Salary Cap is whatever the NHL cap is. Chance of it going down this year as well.

Tough decision - with Sharp 5.9 Cap Hit, im thinking I may be able to get him still in the second round if i wanted.

So I assume you have to fill an entire team with an NHL sized roster? I see you said NHL cap so with around 60 million you should have no problem unless I am confused.

I don't see Stepan getting a huge amount of top 6 ice time next year. I would much rather have Henrique to be honest. Read is tough because if he ever gets regualr top 6 time he would be a guy to keep, but he's far down the depth chart in Philly.

I'd keep Sharp and Henrique.
