My concern is with Stafford's and Vanek's confidence right now. Both missed big opportunities at the end. That's going to gnaw at them for some time.

Man up. We lost to a better team. Can you possibly fathom this team beating Pittsburgh in a 7 game playoff series, with playoff intensity and Pittsburgh's real goalie in the net? Not to mention Letang.

We really missed Ehrhoff tonight. But assuming 100% healthy rosters, this Sabres team is SMOKED by a team like Pittsburgh over 7 games of playoff hockey, along with half a dozen teams in the west, and 1 or 2 others in the East.

Probably true, but if we get in we'll probably not be playing them in the first round. I just want to win 1 round of playoff hockey again, and that will appease me for this season.
