I agree with the bolded part fully, but you're not being realistic. I, too, won't lost sleep if we don't get home ice, but it's just not true that line matching does not matter. You can be as determined as you want, but this isn't a fairy tale, where the brave young lad overcomes all obstacles and gets the princess. Details matter, and you can't overlook the fact that some players, such as Malkin and Crosby, can't just left to whomever and expect that they won't run up the score if that's all left to chance. That's why teams employ coaches.

Having said that, we ARE going to beat their *****

I agree with this. Especially us beating their *****

Before we spank some flightless birds though, let's get a solid win against these Senators. A repeat of the first game against them back in October would give this season a nice circular structure, don't you think?

Not here to troll, but when we beat you guys tonight, I want you to know that it's strictly because we need the points to keep the Caps and Sabres at bay. It's nothing personal.

We'll take it into OT so you guys can salvage a point, though. I'm still a huge Briere guy, so I don't want to see him go home empty-handed. Hartnell, too. Love that guy.

Best of luck, Flyers.

I don't think this guy caught the toronto game.

On the other hand though, we suck at afternoon games

As long as we take the afternoon game, you guys can have the night game.

If I'd been a Bruin fan, I'd prefer if the Senators stayed in the 7th spot and not drop to allow the Sabres or the Capitals to take that place. You have a pretty good record against them this season as well (don't know how you've played against the other two though).

Zero expectations. We probably have the worst day game record in the entire league. Bob or Bryz?

Timonen is playing.

Bobrovsky will start. Bryzgalov will be scratched.

The playoff race makes for strange bedfellows. It's definitely the "I can't believe I'm rooting for XXXXX tonight! I feel so dirty!" time of year.

CBC said Flyers have had 11 or more wins in March four times(this year included). We went to the finals the other three times, won it twice

Huh. Ron MacLean said the Flyers have won 11 games in March four times; three of those times they made the Stanley Cup Final, including both Cup victories.

Edit: Argh, RoDu, ya jerk.
