@markhmasters - Leafs coach Randy Carlyle has players do push-ups if they miss the net during drill in the morning skate
Dions arms will fall off before practice is over.

Looks like Scrivens will start tonight, according to Paul Hendrick. Also, Komi in, Franson out.

It's sad because these games now should have been us preparing for the playoffs and the fans getting super pumped up.

Franson has looked more like a forward than a defenseman in recent games I have watched.

Leafs To Honour Earth Hour

Brian Burke is still considering ways the Leafs can honour Earth Hour and raise awareness about climate change while continuing to operate the ACC at full power and meeting MLSE's obligations to ticket holders for tonights game.

Amongst the options being considered:

* symbolically "turning out the lights" by giving up three soft goals in the first five minutes.

* turning off the red light behind the leafs net between 8:30 and 9:30 tonight (this could be too distracting).

* continue the practice of mustering no offensive pressure, shots or goals during any leafs power plays tonight (but its difficult to imagine anyone noticing this as being any different than the last month).

I bet if you were GM of the Leafs, you'd be fired in an hour based on the GM's calling back and laughing in your face.

P.s - this wasnt even remotely funny. Humors not your thing.

Shouldn't the title of this thread be 'The Pre-game TANK Talk'?

I had a coach that used to make us do push-ups as well when we missed the net. Hopefully this will encourage them to get more than 15 shots on net tonight.

Wont matter anyway with Miller in net, thankfully. Go Sabres.
