He's definetley an intriguing prospect, tho I wonder if you may have to trade up for him? Rumour is, is that he's high on JR's short list, and we're projected to pick 9th atm.
He doesn't have a hockey name. Steven Stamkos, Jonathan Toews, Joe Sakic. Those are good hockey names. Gotta stay away from the Faksas and Tzachuks of the world.
I like Gaunce, although there is questions about how well he will do offensively, I think he would be a good pick if Reinhart is gone. I want Reinhart though
I keep flip flopping on who I want us to take. (seems to happen every year)
Realistically at 11th, I want one of the following players.
Morgan Reilly (maybe a little unrealistic to project him to still be on the board, I think he drops due to injuries)
Radek Faksa
Teuvo Teravainen
Cody Ceci
Brendan Gaunce
Those are my five at this given moment. I estimate Reinhart is gone before 11th.
Zemgus Girgensons Dubuque (USHL) C L 6'1/198 38gp 15goals 39assists +11
My first choice ^
Then radek faska.
But I say take BPA even if that's a defenseman

I am kind of Iffy on Girgensons. He looked good at the WJC's, but he has failed to elevate his game from last year in a league he should be dominating. Although I suppose he does not have the greatest supporting cast anymore with the departure of Johhny Gaudreau and Vinny Saponari. I suppose I am just reluctant to draft someone so high straight out of the USHL.
I am curious to see what he can do with Vermont next season.
I have a feeling we will be picking 11th and one of Reinhart or Collberg will be available to us. I wouldn't be disappointed with a Faksa pick if the first 10 don't see anything off the board.
Central Scouting released a top 10 list for the top 10 in "each league" in North America today, of note Reinhart is ranked 4th in the WHL, Faska 2nd in the OHL, Galchenyuk 4th in the OHL, Gaunce 5th in the OHL, Frk 4th in the QMJHL, Grigorenko 5th in the QMJHL, Girgensons 2nd in USA West,

Very surprised girgorenko is 5th in QMJHL. Especially since Frk is 4th when girgorenko is projected a top 3 pick

It says on the thing that "in order to maintain some confidentiality, the list is in alphabetical orders"
Sebastian Collberg is my pick. Last year before the draft I e-mailed a buddy who is a Nucks fan that I thought we would take Sven Baertschi and I was right.
This year I see Collberg as this year's Baertschi - a smaller offensive guy ranked around 10-20th who a year later should of been top 10 or even top 5, which is Baertschi's story this year.

I personally think he is a stretch at 11 to take. He may be the next Sven (I have my doubts) but I would rather get one of the centers than him given a choice, almost every top team is deep at center it is easier to build a contender from the middle out than around the wings.
