Brian Burke is still considering ways the Leafs can honour Earth Hour and raise awareness about climate change while continuing to operate the ACC at full power and meeting MLSE's obligations to ticket holders for tonights game.
Amongst the options being considered:
* symbolically "turning out the lights" by giving up three soft goals in the first five minutes.
* turning off the red light behind the leafs net between 8:30 and 9:30 tonight (this could be too distracting).
* continue the practice of mustering no offensive pressure, shots or goals during any leafs power plays tonight (but its difficult to imagine anyone noticing this as being any different than the last month).

Always wanted to use this. Looks like now is the time.
I had a coach that used to make us do push-ups as well when we missed the net. Hopefully this will encourage them to get more than 15 shots on net tonight.
