5 game winning streaks

If I remember correctly, someone mentioned earlier in the year that we had already tied the amount of 5 game winning streaks that the 93-94 team had.

If that's correct then a win tomorrow would set a franchise record in the number of 5 game winning streaks a NYR team has ever had.

It just shows us that if you look at the season as a whole, this team has been very consistent.

Yup, in the past we would be lucky to get a couple 5 game winning streaks...and then when we got one we would likely follow it up with a 5 game losing streak. lol The fact that we've only had one 3 game losing streak this season is pretty impressive for sure.

I think it was 91-92, not 93-94. And I believe it was 4. We also have 6 4 game winning streaks. At least 7 3 game winning streaks.

Yep. That was me who mentioned it earlier in the year. When I researched this, I realized we had some pretty pathetic seasons in our history.
