IMO Grabner should be on the 4th line. If he's matched up against the other team's 4th line he may be a little more successful.

Awful loss, but its nice to have seen them battle until the near end of the season. Hopefully they can finally get back to the playoffs next season.

What? His struggles this year has nothing to do with the players he is going up against, it has everything to do with the fact he has no confidence, and thinks way too much when he gets on a breakaway.

Time to cheer for wins from the Leafs, Canes, Habs, Lightning and Ducks in today's games. Ya'll are welcome to cheer for the Wild but the Kings are now officially my playoff team and I wanna see them expand their lead in the division.

He is my #1 candidate to be traded this summer. Good kid, but simply is not complete enough and not good enough at what he's good at. If that makes any sense. Would much rather give that spot to Ullstrom next year, or maybe an actual NHL player via free agency.

At least 2 of Grabner, Okposo, Bailey need to be traded this offseason if the Islanders are even going to have the room to even attempt to make themselves better next year.

They simply can't go with the same forward corps just replacing Pandolfo with Knuble (you know it's gonna happen) and Petrov with Nino. and that's even assuming the NYI do the right thing with Nino next year.

A guy sitting behind me was talking to a ticket sales rep and the guy asked "what's up with all these Bruin fans?" And the rep said "they don't really care who buys them as long as people buy them"

Disgusting. No accountability whatsoever.

If he's plays against the opponants 4th line, his skill level should make him one of the better players out on the ice. Let's face it, 4th liners are generally the weakest players on a team. Put Grabs on the 4th line and see what he can do.

I also don't think he deserves to be on the top 3 lines.

Only problem is his contract...$3MM 5 years. Who is going for that in a trade? Maybe Burkie?

This is it guys. The offseason has officially begun. This is the single most important offseason in Garth's career. There is no excuse to sign some real talent this summer. I better not even hear the word rebuild anymore.

What? Are they supposed to check what team people root for before they allow them to buy tickets?

Someone out there will take a chance on Grabner's wheels. His contract is pretty moveable.

A decent game by the Isles all the way to 4-3. They showed good spirit and kept up with the Bruins almost to the end.

What makes you think I haven't been cheering for them.

My playoff team is the Preds. They're a team in a nontraditional hockey market and they have one of the lowest payrolls.

I wouldn't mind seeing Phoenix do well either. Feel sorry for those guys. Their fans get jerked around every year, with the threat hanging over their head of relocation.

If they ask for tickets to the Bahwstun game, refuse the sale.

He hasn't competed all season. Brutal today.

Any of the Blues, Kings, Sabres, Sharks need to win the cup. It would be most fun to watch imo simply because they have never won before and are solid hockey markets. Their fans deserve a winner.

Blues
Sabres
Kings
Sharks

Grabner should bounce back next year. No need to trade him just yet.

I would of added Washington if Dale Hunter wasn't coaching. Pierre Turgeon is my favorite player and though I was too young to remember that hit, he is the player that sparked my love for the Isles.

The Isles were in this until the floodgates opened. Games like this you just write off the 5th and 6th goals because they don't matter. What matters is they kept pace with Boston all game. The goals that came after the 4th are irrelevant because they came in a flurry at the end. Those type of goals don't really mean anything when they happen like that.

Good game Isles fans, you guys have made big strides this year and if Wang can keep himself from messing things up I expect you guys to be playoff bound this time next year.

p.s. Yeah those uniforms gotta go. They're almost as bad as our big yellow bear third jerseys from a few years back.
