You are right though most of the time they do not. The last time i remember someone really sticking up for him like Gaustand did they got a penalty as well. I believe it was Fisher.
First off, his name is Gaustad not Gaustand. Secondly, he didn't really stand up for him, he argued with the ref more than anything.

Look at DET or CHI though. We are one of the more consistent teams over the past month relative to several other contenders. PIT just lost two in a row to the Islanders haha.

I had a thought when Rads came back. You guys remember the clappers? Those plastic handles with a pair of hands that made an obscene amount of noise? They should stick a plastic hockey stick blade on a handle that twirls 360 degrees and hand them out.
Except for a few teams, it seems every one of the top teams has been inconsistent and would win some games then lose some games. Not too many going on a winning streak lately.
