I feel like im spending all my points on contracts in this game. After every game i have about 3 or 4 guys who need a new contract, and i have to spend all the points i just earned on contracts.

Play the market a little bit, try and find cheap things and sell them for higher. You're doing it wrong, it is just a hard cycle to break. Also, a few MSP/Playstation Cards couldn't hurt, if it is only like 5 bucks.
yeah for the longest time I was just getting by id win enough just to buy another pack/3-4 contracts to keep me going .. finally decided to flip some cards and now im staying 2.5k above at all times.

I find it harder to flip cards this year than last years game.. But once in a while I find gems.. Just flipped a Strome SOTW 1500 BIN sold it for 4500 BIN within 20 mins haha
Since you guys are posting your line-ups I'll post my current line-up as well. With this line-up I went with depth instead of stacking my first few lines. I'm also obsessed with 99 chemistry so every line is 99. The team is 92 OFF - 87 DEF - 86 GOA.

The overall rankings are stupid in this game. My 2nd d-men pairing is barely better than my 3rd pairing stat wise but has a way higher overall. Same thing with my 2nd forward line. Paajarvi is just as good as Gagner and Eberle stat wise but his overall rating is much lower.

I didn't train Staal, Malkin, and the entire Winterhawks line. I bought them all. Saved a lot from buying them on the market. And now instead of MPS as my center for my Oilers line I have a Gretzky
Won the Elite playoffs for the first time today. First time I've ever qualified for the Elite playoffs too. Made sure not to play anyone with ridiculously good records though because I really wanted to win.
Had the problem of the game recording wins as losses and no stats or contracts being taken off players Had a search online and it seems that there's no fix and that EA are (naturally) not doing a thing about it! All I want to do is play UT damnit! Has anyone else had this problem at all?
