I knew if it went to shootout we would get rocked. Bernier is pretty awful in the shootout. Looks like a fish out of water its actually quite comical really. Just not as comical when we needed that point.

Same here. 2-1-1 road trip isn't bad.

That being said, being up 3-2 and sucking it away leaves a bitter taste. Argh

They played like a team that got in at 3 am playing a back-to-back. Bummer

Too much screwing around during the 1st half of the third. I understand trying to get richie the hattrick, but they passed up some shots in the process. Still got 5 points on the trip and remain in the playoffs

Kings pp in OT actually got the shot they wanted, but Richards failed.

Someone needs to work with Bernier in shootouts. You have to challenge the shooter in the NHL.

This. Other than the post Setoguchi hit, what are you gonna do? Minny's goals were just the bounces.

That being said, you create those bounces when you outwork the other team. Kings were just gassed and it showed.

Must've been no oxygen in Doughty's brain. He tried to give the game away long before OT.

I knew we were in trouble once it went to a shoot out, they're not Bernier's specialty.

That loss really pissed me off. 10 minutes from a win and keeping control of the Pacific and yet there were scoring chances missed all because the team wanted to get the pressbox prince a hat trick. That is such a scrub league move.

Also, JB needs to work on shootouts. Seriously, that was brutal to watch.

This game really pissed me off, we played so ****ing cocky, we tried to set up richardson with a ONE goal lead the whole time. What the hell were they thinking, we need every point we can get and suddenly its lets pass to richardson day wtf.

Once the Wild hit the post and missed the empty net to end OT, i actually thought the Kings would steal the 2 points in the shootout. But Bernier quickly made me remember lolbernier in shootouts

There was some overpassing for sure...

... and Bernier needs to RELAX just a bit in the shootout - come out of the crease and challenge the shooter... ya think?! And a pokecheck stops at least one of those 2 SO goals...

Oh well, he's not play anymore this year except for warmups and passing the water bottle to Quick.
