I tried watching that show. Either I failed or the show failed, I'm not sure which. There seemed to be way, way too much dialogue & way too many characters & sub-plots to follow. Long story short, I had no idea why that dude pushed the kid out the window at the end of the first episode, so I stopped watching. I found out a year later it was an incest thing. Oh well.
All things being equal, I'd rather watch "Doomsday Preppers". It's equal parts entertainment ('cuz many of them preppers are strange!) and education ('cuz at least one of them is convinced he can speak the language of birds ).
So awesome! It's the only show where I can't help but watch week to week. I usually wait till the end of the seasons then just marathon them, but I am so desperate for more GoT I am watching this season week to week.
Its a show you really have to give it a few episodes to start to understand the subtleties. It's a "fantasy" show, but the real interesting thing about the show is the political battles, the personal battles of all the different characters. It's not your typical fantasy story, good guys battle bad guys with magical things all around. There are no real "bad guys", even the Lannisters are hero's in their own eyes. Just awesome, can't wait for next ep...

I caught up with GoT when the Blu-ray came out and really enjoyed it and I'm not a fantasy nut. I have the season two premiere on my DVR and will get to it this week.
I can't stand Joffrey though. I wanted to reach through the screen and punch him in the throat.
Does anybody watch Shameless on showtime? I started watching it the other day. Still not sure what to think. A odd show though. I really like William H. Macys character though.... good stuff.

Emmy Rossum is yummy!!! That's all I really know about Shameless. That and it's usually on after Californication, which I never would have watched except for the fact that the X-Files was an amazing show.

Haha, she is very pretty. I like that the main bar on the tv show is always playing hockey (even though you can't really see much)

Im in my hotel room overlooking the Sand Diego Bay watching the Tigers/Red Sox. Im going to get some breakfast in a bit and then head to the ballpark for Opening Day. It doesnt get much better then this.

Last night was the finale of One Tree Hill and I loved that show just because I have been watching it for so long. I was sad to see it go. You watch that show too, right? Or did, haha.

Yeah, I just finished it because I have watched it for so long. It's weird that it's all over now.
But, I can't get into vampire shows. Trueblood was good for awhile, but then I stopped watching. Now I have moved on to zombies with the walking dead, great stuff.

You know the thing with true blood is one episode will be Aaamazing then like the next three will extremely boring.
My dads been trying to get me to watch walking dead...idk lol. Zombies creep me out.
True Blood lost me after season two because it just felt like a slightly more serious version of Twilight. It's a shame because I love Alan Ball. Six Feet Under is one of the greatest shows of all time. It's right up there with The Wire and The X Files and it's final episode is out of this world awesome.
So the Ducks lost out at their chance at 1st overall in the draft because they tied with Toronto and had because they only played one time head to head they had to go to the goal differential tiebreaker. Toronto's was worse so the Ducks landed 24th worst in the league. Heh.
