Well I guess Don's no racist since he likes Simmonds so much.

Back me up on this Canada. You know you want to see it.
Get in line, dude. I think french guys called dibs quite a while ago. Shouldn't have to wait too long though. After all that happened in Montreal this week, you know Donny's gonna rip on em some more tonight

Cherry is a fool. Ask Anton Volchenkov how a visor can make a facial injury worse. His answer? It doesnt.

I can't wait until the day Zigomanis isn't in our system. I'm sick of hearing about him.

Why? Don will probably slam Burke for letting him walk.

Wasn't as bad as I expected. Basically said he could care less who is named GM and then blasted them for not inquiring if Cunneyworth (whose name he butchered at 1st) spoke French before naming him coach.

Always enjoy his Kadri/Ziggy rants but he promised this was his last mention of Ziggy since he thinks all his rants hurts Ziggy's chances of getting called up.

Just replace Zigo with a guy named Ontario.. that'll really mess with his head.

Son of a..

Tell me all about this with Zigomanis. Z played for my team in Sweden a couple of seasons ago b.t.w. We loved him.

Thats the 3rd time hes said it will be his "last Zigomanis ran"

Also, Cherry insinuates the Leafs screwed up by not picked Simmonds in the draft.... love that because not only did every NHL team pass on him 3 times in 2007, he was completely passed over in 2006. Shows you how little Cherry really knows

Also, love it when Cherry emphasized that McNabb is from Saskatchewan, just like he had been emphasizing Ontario players for the past 2 weeks, cause the Leafs have like 5 guys from Sask

He's a great player for the AHL. His speed simply won't let him find a full time NHL job and Don refuses to see it.

If possible the Canucks should be trading Luongo and keeping Schneider.

Lol at the Leaf fans throwing stones at Cherry.

A monkey could manage the team into 27th place four years into their term.

I would think Cherry would be an improvement.

Well - it would prove Don right about swedes, as you'd need a monster that sized to go after a 78 year old man, in your opinion.

Are there no tough 78 year olds to step up?

I think Cherry liked Forsberg. But he sure dislikes Alfredsson. Who knows, though...he only begrudgingly accepted Sundin after years of moaning for Wendel, but you'll notice that during Sundin's jersey retirement night, for example, Cherry made zero mention of Sundin.

I can't wait till next year if both Kuznetsov and Tarsenko come over, both kids act like Ovechkin when celebrating goals, hes gonna get so mad at them.

Is there any chance he will mention Marcus Foligno´s effort against the Leafs?

Don't know if these have been mentioned in earlier Cherry threads, but I stumbled on these vintage Rock 'Em Sock 'Em clips on youtube. Quality is good enough to watch on my 40 inch tv and this guy has put up editions 1-9 which are available only on VHS.

Here's part one of the first edition

As long as Don Cherry only talks about our war victories I can handle him.
