Whitney got his 1,000th point. Great player.

EDIT: And he scored a goal for his 1,001st point. He was on 1,000 for 40 seconds.

Yeah that was probably the shortest anyone was ever stuck on 1000 points.

I can't believe St. Louis lost to Columbus at home 5-2. Seriously we gave up 2 to them but it looked to me that we could have played 2 or 3 more games for them to reach 5 goals on us total. If they're not careful they'll fall to the 2 seed.

It's also a good thing Washington won. Hopefully they take the Division away from Florida so we can face them instead.

The team with the best GAA, gives up the fewest shots per game, Has the best home record in the league, gives up 5 goals to the worst team in the league and hopefully just handed the Rangers the President's Trophy? Good night IMO, lol.

I hate how the standings are done. It should be (took out L, OTL, etc for space/laziness)
TeamROWPoints
*NYR46107
PIT39102
PHI4199
*BOS3896
NJD3396
OTT3490
*FLA3190
WAS3688

Division winner should only be guaranteed a playoff spot, not seeding.

I'm fine with it as long as they don't do that crazy realignment where we'd have to beat out the Flyers and Penguins every year just to reach the semis. That proposed realignment was terrible for everything other than fixing the Western teams' travel costs.

Kiprusoff is notoriously bad against Vancouver.

Didn't know that. Wish he could borrow Lundqvist for a day and work on that 2 game shutout streak he has against them.

Could have been worse and he could have thrown it during play.
