Games of note today:

Sens - Isles

Oilers - Ducks

At this point, I hope for a Ducks win because we can just give Edmonton 2nd overall. We'll just have to hope for a falling Galchenyuk.

I remember last year New Jersey fans were mad at the way how the Devils closed the season out on a run and went from 3rd-5th to 8th IIRC. Then they win the lottery and move up to four. Still a chance to leap frog EDM and CBJ.

Same as I did yesterday, final point ranges:

Winnipeg 81-87
Tampa 77-85
Carolina 77-85
Anaheim 77-85
NYI 77-85
Toronto 77-83
Minnesota 76-84
Montreal 73-79
Edmonton 71-79
Columbus 61-67

NYI in action at home against an Ottawa team that went to SO last night.

Edmonton playing Anaheim.

A Minnesota loss plus one more point out of Winnipeg cuts off the 10th overall pick from us. Actually...that gives me an idea of how to track it.

Interesting game we got here

Many Wild fans seem to want a L for a tank
A large # of Hawk fans want a L to avoid a matchup with Preds in 4/5 battle

I honestly hope for a good game with no injuries

If Chicago wants the cup, they'll have to face Nashville eventually. Wouldn't Chicago want an early match-up, before possible injuries?

Chicago is within like one point of Nashville, so I dont get why they dont want to win their final 3 games and finish 4th in the conference for home ice.

They've got two games against us. All they should have to do is show up really... well... at least that's all they had to do before the whole ****ing team went into irrelevant beast mode

Preds give Hawks alot of trouble

The fear would be the Preds finishing 4th overall (With home ice) and Hawks playing them in round 1

It is sorta appealing to have Preds/Wings hammer it out in rd 1

I myself would prefer to continue to finish year strong and get #4 spot

Also Peters is a center so it makes sense to bring up a center to replace him.

It is Teemu "One More Year" Selanne's "last" home game. I hope Ducks go for it. Teemu makes a hatty and they take the points.

Didn't get to see last night's game, but excited to see how Zucker plays in his 3rd NHL game. It sounds like he played well and I loved the way he got his first two NHL points. First one was something none of our current players have ever been able to do, speed helps a lot there. And I love to see him just shooting that puck on net.

And Christensen wants an NHL job, so we'll in all likelihood entertain the idea of re-signing him. He'll find work somewhere though.

Why is it that the Wild never catch the flu bug at the END of a season?

Because flu season is over?

I motion that next season all Wild players will be kept in hermetically sealed in bubbles any time they see their children. Those little disease bombs should not be allowed to endanger a season

The Hockey Gods like to pee on us fans after our team has been eliminated from the playoffs.

As BWC pointed out, they're trying to avoid playing the Preds, who are easily the scariest team in the West right now. Finish 6th, play against [Pacific Division winner] or finish 4th, play against Smashville...I'll go with the former 7 days a week.

Karkat Vantas is a troll from the webcomic "Homestuck". Homestuck is about a couple of kids who one day sit down to play the latest multiplayer game and discover that it's much, much more than just a game. It's literally very serious business.

Here is page one: http://www.mspaintadventures.com/?s=6

Starts a little slowly but give it through the end of act two. It is a very rewarding read.
