i think he lifted the leg because he thought malkin is going to lift the puck as well.
at least its only thing crossing my mind
i think you are right, but, the easier play [for Bryz] is to cover low & force Frankenstein to lift the puck over the pad & that always leaves the possibility that he doesn't lift it high enough & the save is made.
considering he's 8-0-1 with a 1.19 & .960 in March, i can't kill hime for it, but he really should have / could have had that one
not much that can be done on either goal ..... he was challenging as much as he could on goal 1 .... Briere was just one of a few Flyers players that just watched the Panther get to the top of the slot ... he picked the corner ...... tough one
tough break on the lone goal .... ideally that poke check would be enough to disrupt the play, and not lead to as high a quality shot. the crowd in front didn't help .... can't call it a terrible goal, but i'd bet Bryz wasn't happy with it.
besides that, Bryz stole the show yet again. glove, positioning were great.
[did get a few breaks on posts, though]
i'd rate this game 92 out of 100
had the save of the shootout, nice to see they are no longer automatic losses
