I am so confused after yesterday. Should I go to the Leafs' board and start cheering for the Islanders?

Maybe an Isles fan can help me out here... what prompted you guys to pick up Grahame? Did management not have faith in Poulin/Nilsson? And how long is Nabokov out for?

Carkner isn't going to play in the playoffs unless Gilroy just can't do the job at all IMO.

In the three games he has played the has averaged 9 minutes TOI (his10:18 vs Philly the high). This forces the other D to play too many minutes, should the Sens make the playoff and wish for any kind of success.

Gilroy was averaging 15 - 16 minutes a night, huge difference, so hopefully he can do the job.

Time for King Karlsson to light it up and put this Norris nonsense to bed.

He could break 80 pts this afternoon ....in this low scoring dead puck era as a 21 year old Dman ...and not even on close to a stacked team up front yet.

Gilroy is a fk joke, I don't want to see that dumbass on the ice again unless we are forced to. He has a 2 cents worth of a head and a TERRIBLE hockeysense despite his mobility.

I'd rather limit Carkner's ice-time in the playoffs and he does have prior history of playing big before and very well in the playoffs 2 years ago against the defending champs Pens in round 1.

why is MacLean putting in Gilroy? Seems like it has fail written all over it, kinda like when he decided to play Konopka

makes no sense. I dont even like Carkner, but I am well aware of how much of a liability Gilroy is.

I like Carkner better than Gilroy too despite the ice time! can't STAND watching Gilory! out of of the games he's played, i honesty don't think he's taken a slapshot, it's always a lame ass wrist shots that have no chance of going in. Plus, he's horrible on the PP i prefer Phillips in that role and he doesn't get the opportunity if Gilroy is playing.

You'd also prefer a top-6 consisting of Gilroy-Campoli over Carkner as a number 6 d-man, so I'm not surprised.

I know we aren't in the heritage jerseys today but:

EDIT: I can't tell if LR is just playing an April Fools joke or if he has actually been converted.

GDT is now complete. You can click on the various parts to bring up relevant information or Parks and Recreation videos! (eg clicking on the Sens roster will bring you Sens roster stats, clicking on Ron Swanson will bring you to a Ron related pic/video, etc)

Bridgeport (NYI AHL affiliate) is actually in a playoff race. Better to leave Poulin in there for serious starts, rather than backing up Montoya in the NHL.

Anyone know/want to look up our record with Gilroy in vs with Carkner in since the deadline?

Why is this afternoon going by soooooo slowwlllyy!? Will this game go down as a top ten moment in Senators history? Kent Brockman says "Only time will tell."

BTW....that may be a good topic for a thread...what are our Top 10 moments? Probably been done before...

All I can say is....if we win this afternoon...I'll be one of the first people in line tomorrow morning picking up my playoff run car flag at the Sens store.
