Looks like I missed a classic.

Malkin being dirty is no shock. He's garbage.

Hartnell is awesome

As I watch it again and again, I love more and more how Kimmo watches the crowd and laughs really honestly

Someone earlier asked about Sestito. There isn't a true update other than he is still progressing and rehabbing with the injury.

How about Couturier??!!

Shutting down Malkin again. What a freaking STUD!

Loved how he purposely bumped into Malkin after the play and tried to draw a penalty.

From Couturier's draft day (the comparable was Jordan Staal).

Pierre Maguire was very excited by the pick.

My favorite rookie on the team. This guy has it. When he gets more experience and grows into his frame this kid will be a monster.

Man, I am liking our matchup against the pens more and more... better than how we have matched against the rangers.

But we really need to get healthy.

From Sam C. @ the Inquirer:

Quote:
Late in the game, Mount Lavy erupted. Coach Peter Laviolette broke Max Talbot's stick in anger and got into a shoting match with Penguins assistant Tony Granato.

Both were ejected.

After the comeback win, Laviolette criticized Penguins coach Dan Bylsma for putting out his goon-type players at the end. Several scrums erupted after an open-ice hit by the Penguins Joe Vitale leveled Danny Briere with 1:03 to play.

"Those guys hadn't played in 12 minutes," Laviolette said of the Pens' late lineup. "It was a gutless move by their coach."

Said Penguins star Sidney Crosby: "I’m sure (Laviolette) doesn’t like to see one of their top players getting hit... Maybe he shouldn’t have put him out there.”

It's too bad that shuting down opposing top players in the league isn't as sexy as scoring goals or Couts would be a serious contender for the Calder.

From Frank @ the Daily News:

Quote:
Scott Hartnell, on the other hand, said the Flyers' recent success in Pittsburgh is because they got out of the aging Igloo.

"This is a much different building than the Igloo," Hartnell said. "We were almost scared coming into the Igloo. People were right on you, and just how dumpy the place was. Rats (were) everywhere. There's even more rats now (in the rubble). It was tough. But I think it's good that we have the confidence to win here and play hard. We know in our hearts and our heads that we can come in here and win here."

Yes. The Bruins never whine and cry.

I look forward to the Flyers coming out of the East and handing the Bruins their ass.

The Crosby quote might be one of the most hypocritical things I have ever read.
