oh lol, my band uses pro tools. Im not the one in charge of recording, i just hear them praise pro tools and our Blue mic.
Pro tools is good for what it does, but I just prefer Logic's interface (and the fact that I'm not tied as tightly into choices for interface as I would be with Pro Tools).
*******, Audacity is a terrible program for audio editing.
Get what you pay for, I suppose.
Reaper is an incredibly potent DAW that you should get if you want something good that isn't going to leave you eating noodles for the next few weeks.
I would recommend Logic if you're using a mac, it is what reaper is but so much better (and as mentioned, Reaper is incredibly good and well worth the money).
I highly recommend all of you be in a college town the night its basketball team wins a Final Four game at least once in your life....last night in downtown Lawrence was simply amazing.
No, not really. The East Coast is definitely more high strung/stressed out than other places, so people aren't as outgoing with their friendliness, but you're no more likely to see a guy curse you out for no reason than anywhere else. Besides, you're foreign, so people are going to love you.
Don't know if my question's fitting in here at all (probably not) but does anybody here know a place where to get Pens/playoff-themed artwork? I'd like to pimp my Facebook profile with a kickass Pens/playoff cover for the timeline...

Agree with the stressed out part. I don't think the "no more likely" part is right. I've been to NYC a couple times. There's limited friendliness there. Everyone always makes you feel like you're wasting their time. People in Pittsburgh are nicer than in the NYC metro area, but that's because not everything is a chore. If I had to deal with the traffic and hustle people in NYC have to deal with on a daily basis, I'd be a complete ***** too.
And it doesn't make people in NY bad. Every place has certain ways that are normal. Being that way in the NYC area is just normal. They don't realize what they do or say can be off putting. It's just how it is.
Yep, that's kinda what I meant by the stressed/more high strung. You talk to someone, and if you don't know them personally, it's going to feel like a business meeting between two acquaintances. It's "Hello, tell me what you need so I can get you out of my hair and move on with my life." It's not personal, but that's the way it is.
We are rapidly approaching Guido season here at the Jersey Shore... May god grant me the strength not to bludgeon everyone in sight when it starts to get warm outside.

Columbus was dead on Saturday night...
