Dave Scatchard?

Hey guys, we all know Bob is looking for a big right-handed center. Now that the Phoenix Coyotes are almost out of the playoffs spot, I think that they might wanna trade some of their big names to reduce the salary cap. Scatchard, 6'3" 220lbs might be one of them. He earns 2.1 millions per year, but I don't know how much he will cost in the next few year or if he actually have a contract. Would you try to get him? Some wanted Ribs out, but I don't think that the Coyotes would want him since the have a similar guy lin Comrie. If you want him on the team, who would you give for Scatchard?

Forget Mara The coyotes are too high on him, at least not with that package.

Morris \ Gauthier are the guys who can be available. And if the Coyotes trade Scatchard and a defenseman IMO they'll want at least one cheap young players in the package like one of Perezhogin, Komisarek , Higgins, Kostitsyn.

YES. Pull that trigger hard. If Gretzky goes for that he's a moron. Then again, look at Team Canada.....

Gretzky picked almost the exact line-up I would've taken to the Olympics. I guess I'm a moron too...

I'll leave that for you to decide.

I'm just going to put you on ignore. I already told you that I didn't call you any names and I didn't call this guy any names either. I mean, he says for himself that Gretzky would be dumb to go after Sundstrom then he comes after me.

would like to have this guy in the lineup, but as long as the highly overpaid, underwhelming bonk is around, there is really no where to put him, there is no question scachard is a 3rd line center

Seems to me there's been some speculation about whether the guy is a jerk or not in the past. Maybe he just wants to be on a scoring line and keeps getting stuck in a checker role.

I agree with you that he is probably a third line center now, but a good one. He has size and a meanstreak too. He used to be faster it seems, unless he was hurt the last time I saw him, but he still has decent speed. Bruins fans seemed to like him. He's an upgrade over Bonk and is a righty too isn't he?
