Starting games after 10 minutes...

Is really starting to piss me off. We're almost literally always 2-0 down after the 10 minute mark. I've just about had enough of the no-mark energy free efforts offered by some of our players. Why the hell do they come out flat every single night?

'Rookie mistake.'

It's unfortunate, and annoying but there seems to be something to it. It's almost like a boxer taking a few blows before figuring out their opponents weakness. I'm not saying they should start games like that, but at least we know they're extremely capable of getting back up after taking a few shots.

They better figure it out. They got another thing coming if they think they can get down to the Penguins (or any team) 2-0 and manage 4 wins in 7 games.

The point is, if they keep allowing teams to take early leads, they won't be winning many games.

It's clearly not a recipe for success.

Honestly, I think this team plays better when down early. It may sound completely illogical, but the proof is in the pudding.

While they have the second best winning percentage in the league when giving up the first goal (trailing only Pittsburgh), they still only have won 44% of those games.

They've won 75% of the games when they have scored first.

I'll take the scoring the first goal pudding.

This isn't something that can continue into the playoffs if they want to even make it past the 1st match.
