Looks like 4th is still possible.

Our loss to Columbus doesn't sting as much anymore, considering St. Louis just got their ass handed to them.

amazing the difference just one game makes

rinne looked like the best goalie in the league against the wings but then he goes and lets in 2 soft goals against the hawks tonight

Like I said in the GDT earlier they've been playing at a 85 point or so pace in March. They're playing like the team I expected them to first be at first, but five months late.

Nashville losing didn't hurt. Got pole position on #4 seed again.

The Kings won a huge game for them yesterday and probably made the playoffs.
Huge game for the Stars vs the Sharks tonight. Hope the Stars win , maybe the biggest game of the season for the both teams.
The Coyotes also a big game, Sabres too. A lot of big/huge games.

Big games Flyers vs Rangers and Bruins vs Pens. East is exciting.

After the Sharks' win over the Stars, I think we have 8 teams ready for the playoffs in the West.

yep

the seeding can still change wildly though

at least two teams still have a realistic shot at every single seed in the West (and other than the 1 and 2 seed three teams do)

Sharks are going to make the playoffs. If they get the 7-8th seed i wont be that mad. They will be a first round exit and hopefully do some damage to either Van or STL. If they get the third seed, i am going to flip out.

I do not think they will pass both Yotes and Kings.

Yeah. I believe that can only happen if they sweep the Kings and the Yotes only win 1 of the next 2.

Looks like 4th is getting to be too much of a mountain to climb. Of course Dallas couldn't do us a favor.

Oh well. As far as I'm concerned, it's about time a lower seed actually won the Cup for a change ('95 Devils were the last team 5th or lower), especially in this day and age of parity. Let's just hope all that "flipping the switch" business is to believed.

Yeah I never get why people are constantly pimping the Stars. I just don't get the love. One thing is the Wings are playing better, ie not giving up a lot of goals and the PK has been good of late. The PP is still bad although Hudler had a nice setup tonight. At this point all I want is home ice for round one but we might have bollocksed that up tonight.

Wasn't it Dallas last year who could, with a win, eliminate chicago, with the last game of the season, and they failed...

Failed twice...hopeless team

Yes their final game is against one another. It was hilarious, the Kings had a 3-1 lead and a Sharks skater dived when Quick bumped into him trying to get back into his cage. The refs bought it, the Sharks scored a PP goal and it was a new game. Los Angeles dominated the first but didn't put San Jose away and it cost them. The final game is in San Jose. We could very well end up playing the Sharks in the first round.

Clowne stopped an odd man rush from the bench with his stick. All 4 refs missed it. Typical Sharks BS and typical NHL reffing.
