Oh I admit, I'm complaining, whining, *****ing and moaning. I'm not even saying my pessimism is realistic. But it's the Panthers we're talking about. This is so important, and a watershed moment. Every team that's been jinxed seems to have to go through fire to get over the hump. Therefore, I'm afraid what happens over the next 4 games will determine a couple of key things. Like which free agents we can attract, how psyched our team will be in the offseason, how dynamic our coaching staff will be.
With the way they've been playing over the last two weeks, getting 5 points out of a possible 8 seems like a hell of a stretch. Maybe the Caps winning tonight and now only 2 points behind will give them a kick in the ass for the next week.
Tonight's loss was the most disappointing loss since 96. The fact we couldnt celebrate..I mean the roof would have literally blasted straight up into orbit. The fact that the NYR clinched the east AND swept the flyers couldn't cheer me up. It's keeping me awake, just watched the replay, Kopevky scores and I could cry right now reliving that feeling only to know what comes soon.
