Little old biased me chose Kesler, but I can see why they would choose Parise, Callahan, etc.

Why? I mean obviously he's a good choice, but a landslide? Give me a break.

Any of those or Suter would be fine with me. If Brown is the captain of Team USA I may vomit.

would like brown to be captain, but he's the captain who plays like a leader rather than a locker room. I think callahan is going to get it though.

Well he's clearly the most skilled. That doesn't make him the best leader.

After 24/7, Cally gets my vote. Kesler slightly second

Gotta go with Callahan.
Parise is easily the best player but that doesn't make him the best captain. Probably gets an A along with one of Kesler/Suter.

It would be nice if the national team were captained by somebody who isn't one of the most notorious divers in the NHL.

I'd choose Backes. He's a great leader. He's a big reason why The Blues have matured. they matured along with him. He's cut out most of the ill-timed penalties he used to get from over exuberance.

Yeah I agree with Callahan, though Parise should get A. He is great leader, but Callahan has edge here.

As an Islander fan, I wish Callahan was on my team.... but does anyone else think he looks like Finch from American Pie?

kesler was one of your best players in 2010 he has the ability to be a complete game changer. with that said he isn't exactly the leader type.

By 2014, maturity wise, leadership wise and skill wise, will point to Captain Ryan.
