The Wild are now our friends ... as long as they lose to us but beat the Hawks. Detroit with a tough final three. With our typical luck, we get a Dallas team that literally has its back against the wall. It's a dogfight already.
GO CATS AND GO WILD. We could be sitting in 6th by 10pm tonight. Actually, I think we will be in 6th. It's about to be a crazy final 3 games.
If we end up in 6th as of tonight, we'll have a game in hand on the Hawks. We hold the ROW tiebreak on both the wings and hawks for now. Nobody said this would be simple or predictable.
Hopefully my Panthers (distantly 2nd favorite team) can help us out. I would normally say since they're a desperate team that may work for us, but they don't seem to be playing like one.
Stupid announcers; DET take FL into overtime and they're all excited cause they tied the Preds with 98 and they emphasize that no matter what, they have game in hand. Except - that is the GinH.
Obviously tonight, but I'm legitimately rooting for them to be competitive again. To me, their the little brother that we love to beat up on, but I don't mind them if they aren't playing us.
Oh god, Viqsi is getting to me
"Little brother". Pfft. Only two years apart.
Still, there's plenty we can agree on. For example - while last night had some unfortunate results (I really thought the comeback was going to happen for a bit there ), at least the Blues got exactly what they deserved.

Thanks, Howson, for cleaning up MacLean's toxic waste. Welcome, Kekalainen; let's get good things built!
Buckle up indeed...... We have root for the Blues? Guys, I can hold-my-nose and root for our snot-nosed little brother over in Cbus - but the Blues? Best bet may be the Devils if Ottawa can keep the pressure on them - matchup with winner of the SE rather than Bruins is pretty good motivator to hold onto 6th.
Chicago - either Det or us have to fall flat-on-our-face for them to get outta 6th. Don't see much motivation on Sat for them to beat Det, unless the rivalry thing kicks in and they can knock them outta home ice.
well - tonight looks interesting.... SJ-Dallas - a SJ win in Reg put them 3pts ahead of Dal w/2 games to play. Phoenix has Cbus - all but in with a win. Dallas has the tiebreak on both plus LA - gonna' get really tight if they pull an OT/SO win especially if Cbus beats Phoenix. Oh, and ANA-VAN.....
OK, OK, I know it's hard to get excited over those with Wed Det/StL matchup looming; that game be mighty interesting if we win and ANA can take VAN.
She does have a few good points, but, the NHL alone isn't to blame here. The Goldwater Institute interfered enough to tank previous deals that were well on their way to completion. If/when they Yotes move, it will happen by the rules and not with the end around Moyes and Balsillie tried.
It sucks for Yotes fans, but, their run might be ending soon if nobody steps up immediately.
Detroit playing St. Louis tonight. 3rd starting and it's still 0-0. Rooting for St. Louis to win to help the Preds keep the lead. Also St. Louis coach mentioned Nashville:
