Depends who's sitting in front of you but generally yes you get a good view of the TVs. One game though one dude had managed to change the channel and was watching tennis (!!!)
Hilarious. I'll have to remember to bring a universal remote. lol Anyway, good to know that you can get a decent look at them. I was a little bummed they knocked me back from row 2 to row 3, but at least I'm saving $6/ticket...guess that's almost a beer. Not sure how much the extra legroom in those rows is worth.

Do you even get more leg room in row 2? I thought only row 1 ("gallery") had extra leg room
I got 3 tix at noon sharp. I can't wait to take my wife to her first game. I'm happy I don't have to resort to Stub Hub this time which is where all the Chase presale tickets currently are it seems.
By 12:10 every low priced pair was gone for all 8 games I think.
That's insane...I wonder what % of fans who were on ticketmaster at 11:58 got what they wanted.
I bet the broker to fan ratio searching was 80/20.

Pretty sure both row 1 and 2 will be called "gallery" and both are supposed to have 25% more leg room.
A completely new offering for fans next season will be the new Gallery Seats, providing a premium experience in the upper bowl. The new Gallery Seats will be the front two rows of the upper bowl and feature 25% more legroom, and superior sightlines. The first row will also have a personal television for each seat and a drink rail to rest food and beverages. Current season ticket holders will have the first opportunity to purchase the new Gallery Seats.

I doubt that. Probably the opposite. Real problem is you have a few thousand people going online to try to get a few hundred available tickets.

Yeah. I think another issue is brokers are more familiar with Ticketmaster and how to get the tickets they want as opposed to the average person. Brokers will search for the cheapest immediately while a regular person will just search for best available and not even realize it and by the time they get to search again, a lot of the tickets are gone.

The key for the nonbroker is to know what you want before you log on and then log on at exactly the time it opens. I know 3 others and myself were able to get tickets for 1 game a piece during the STH presale. I logged on at 10am and put in what i wanted and got them. You had 3 minutes to complete the transaction so if you procrasinated once logged in you were dead. I tried again at 10:04 and everything was gone. Much less inventory than last year.
i wanted the 300s so i took a guess and chose the $110 seats so i wouldn't get the 400s to come up.
i got lucky. last time i went to the box office was for Messier Night ready to camp out but they gave bracelets instead.
I'll never understand how they decide to put out tickets for sale.
Many yearsago (i can't believe i'm saying that) my friend and I slept at the colesium for ranger/islander tickets
we were first online and we got row H
we hung around to watch the islanders practice for a while and when that was over there was no line..we checked again out of curiousity to see if it sold out and they offered row D. We went downstairs to complain to the office. They saw our Rangers jerseys and told us to leave.
There was really no "packaging" to speak of. The strips were simply placed in an opaque folder. Nothing to write home about.
Mine came. Playoff tickets aren't typically packaged that nicely anyway. Last year's were in a nice folder too, but that's it. Glad they're here though.
