No doubt about it, the Habs are an elite injury team and have been for years.

Fire the medical staff, probably fire the equipment and conditioning staff, maybe even the zamboni drivers.

We've been an elite injury team for years. It's way beyond statistical fluke.

Especially since a top 5 pick is a lock now.

And it really has no relevance. We are 29th in the league with Price.

The Moen return to play 2 basically meaningless games - a major fiasco that probably cost us a 2nd round pick.

The Diaz fiasco, it seemed like he would skate 1 day with the team, then take the next one off in early March. Happened for 2 straight weeks instead of just letting him rest. Now it seems like his season is over.

Don't laugh, but Gomez tried to rush back in December and it cost him several weeks too.

Just a mess of a season throughout the organization.
Well i'm sure the strength and conditionning department is an area that will be combed over this summer.

But as for Price...sorry, I don't buy that he has a concussion...a hangover is alot more likely lol

But i'm just guessing here...I have no clue really, I just find the timing and everything surrounding his 'concussion' pretty curious.

Hey, I want a high draft pick as much as the next person, maybe even more, but those who are happy about this should give their heads a shake.

Why on earth would you be happy in any way shape or form when our franchise player gets a concussion?

I should add that Kaberle himself admitted he should have never played in Buffalo after hurting himself in Vancouver. Darche said he was feeling worse and worse for a good week, yet he still remained in the lineup.

Either players are refusing to tell the medical staff about their status, or there is a total disconnect between both sides. Or both.
Wasn't Gionta out with an arm injury?

Exactly. This is the worst thing that could've happened at this point in our season. Who cares if we win the lottery and draft Yakupov if Budaj ends up as our starting goalie?

Almost as weird as Gustavsson's injury. Anyone see that? Routine puck off the pads and he crumples to the ground.

I really hope this isn't a concussion and they're just being overly cautious. The last thing we need is for Price to have concussion problems.

I hope the team won't bring the Price concussion as why we miss the playoff this year.

Agreed. Nothing good about this. I'm a little surprised at the amount of poeple who are happy hear. This can potentially last a good while

One more loss and we're guaranteed to finish no better than 3rd so it makes no sense to be happy about this.

I think this might be it. The concussion epidemic in the NHL is more of a consequence due to organizations not taking risks and being super cautious with these kind of injuries.

Let's hope Price recovers this summer and comes back in top shape in september.

The good news is he has 5 full months to recover.

A concussion, especially if this is his first one, can be a 1-2 week ailment.

Of course, it can also take a year if it's a serious one. That's the scary part.

How does that affect his next contract? I wish him the best but the last thing we need is another expensive contract on a player who can't play to his fullest capabilities.

#Habs confirm C.Price has "concussion-like" symptoms, but still can't confirm concussion at this point

Not sure how it can not be a concussion, but let's all pray.

The key thing I hope we find out, was he feeling the effects on Friday?

If so, there should be firings and Price takes a part of the blame for not taking himself out.

Really don't think it's anything to worry about, probably just not taking any chances at this time of year, both with Price and with the tank.

If we were in a playoff run, Price would be playing IMO. Can't see how you'd get concussed in practice.

I said it. I think its a ploy.
