I have a pair of heels like that. I don't recommend walking on ice in them, but Lucic's lovely lady doesn't seem to be the brightest crayon in the box so I'll give her a pass on that.

On the other hand, aside from Schneider's girlfriend, I'm coming to the realization that all hockey players in their 20s seem to date the prototypical blonde. This is concerning to me.

Whatever, **** all y'all NHLers-- Ginger Power.

I'd be about 7 foot tall in those. haha. I'm kind of stuck in flats. Like Nicole Kidman with Tom Cruise in reverse.

She definitely looks like a standard bottle-blonde puckbunny. If she talks similar to how she types, the stereotype will be confirmed.

I wouldn't hold your breath to be proven otherwise.

Brittany changed her hair colour from brunette to blonde according to past pictures of her.

A friend of mine is a childhood friend with one of the Bruin's and he's told me she's a source of many an eye-roll in the locker room.

Can't say I'm surprised.

Men will say it, but most of them don't want a girl who knows just as much (or more) about hockey than they do. Its this weird emasculating complex most have, despite being entirely vocal about wanting a hockey fan as a girlfriend.

I'm speaking from experience. Andbreatheme and Horse likely have had similar experiences, too.

Back in the day when I played junior we did not get many Mensa candidates hanging around the player's exit in my experience.

Most of us have a bit more self respect than to hang around the players exit.

It's a self defeating prophecy.

What I find difficult to believe about this is what Lucic's girlfriend says about Schneider's. We all know Schneider is pure class and I can't see him hanging out with anyone who would carry herself in anything but a respectable manner. There is also nothing to go on here except Lucic's girlfriend's story and her mind boggling stupid tweets.

Some do... and later they just change the target group.

When I was a lawyer starting out many of the younger legal secretaries and receptionists were looking to land a lawyer. God knows why.

Girlfriend thinks she's Kim Kardashian and that airing grievances over Twitter is an acceptable.

Their children will be absolute geniuses.

I find some guys don't like girls to know more about anything than them. I wouldn't want to date an insecure guy like that anyways though.

Solid point.

Still irritates me that I can't go to a sports bar and watch the game without being accused of GOING 2 PIK UP TEH MENZZZZ!!!11 Reminds me of the time I said "Schuuuuuu" after a save at the bar and some guy thought he was completely enlightening me by saying "You shouldn't say Lu, he's not playing, sweetheart." Thanks for the newsflash, Walter Kronkite.

Snyder. I mean, really?

What an idiot... if you want to act like you know somebody and call them a "loser backup" at least learn how their name is spelled.

I picture Cory and his girlfriend laughing whole-heartedly over this story while sipping a nice pinot noir and watching Downton Abbey.
