You're wrong in everything, since it means squat until he ACTUALLY wins something.

Is coaching not just as important as players?

So when Halak to Montreal to round 3, who did we thank for that?

yes 40-50 shot games Halak faced ,he played more than well.
So was it Martin to get credit for Halak in playoffs?
Halak's a good goalie, odds are he get's a cup before we do in Montreal.

Price's concussion i don't like this news, because he gets RUN alot ...

Hey remind me where Leighton is right now. He must be another "top 10 goalie" right?

I really hope it's just a grade 1 concussion or just a misdiagnosis. These days people receive frisbees in the head walking in the park and think they have a concussion.

Anyway here's a scale of grade 1 concussions:

Cantu guidelines Post-traumatic amnesia <30 minutes, no loss of consciousness
Colorado Medical Society guidelines Confusion, no loss of consciousness
American Academy of Neurology guidelines Confusion, symptoms last <15 minutes, no loss of consciousness

So far they have only said he's suffering from headaches?

Price is closer to the vezina than Halak is. That's where you're wrong.

Oh please we blocked a ton of shots, give the defense and the forwards credit, it wasn't just Halak. It was an incredible effort by the whole team.

This really sucks because I was really hoping he'd play in the world championships but it kind of helps the Habs tank at least..

Cant believe people are turning this into a Halak vs. Price thread, Halak closer to a Vezina or Cup then Price?? Umm noo... What are you saying?? he didnt even play that good during that season so why would he get a Vezina?? Maybe a Conn Smythe but yeah no Cup either and as soon as he played a team that crashed the net he really didnt play that good.. Still a great goalie though don't get me wrong but he's no Roy and the team was playing perfect D in those 2 rounds so they should get just as much credit as Halak .. Some people just can't see past the stats sheet which is pretty much why I seldom post on these boards anymore.. Feels like monkeys slinging **** at each other at the end of the day nobody wins because you're both full of ****!

Im not sure where I read dumber posts on here or Facebook..

Just remember , it's never too late to get checked out for a "undiagnosed concussion"

I don't understand your argument. Nobody is saying Price is winning the vezina this year, and by the way Halak wont either since he doesn't even have the best stats o his own damn team. Get that through your head Brooksie?

Its rare seeing a team in last with a franchise goalie, that's speaks a lot about what we ice infront of him more than his actual play. If he would have a team with more experienced players on it, he would have much better numbers than he currently has. Anyways I'm done with this Halak vs Price crap

Why are people arguing over Halak vs Price here? Every one knows Price is better than Halak Oh and by the way the blues aren't first because of Halak, and the Habs are sure as hell not last because of Price.

Agreed, his numbers are pretty good considering he's on a last place team and the defence he had infront of him this year, Im too lazy but can someone maybe compare stats from other starting goalies on bottom 3 teams over the last few years?

K i just went ahead and did it for this season.. dont forget that Khabibulin is a Cup winning Veteran goalie

Khabibulin - Edm

.910 save %
2.65 gaa

Steve Mason - Cbj

.892 save %
3.43 gaa

Price - Mon

916 save %
2.43 gaa

.. not too shabby..

and just for comparison Heres Halaks stats last year on a bad Blues team

.910 save %
2.48 gaa
