But if he isn't in great shape at the combine, I have a hard time seeing any team take a risk on him with a top5 pick.

To be honest, I wouldn't be surprised that we pick a Dman if Yakupov and Grigs are gone. Even Grigs, from what I've read, is not a sure thing. There's a lot of good Dmen available.
Galchenyuk is back and has 2g 2a in 3 playoff games.

The arm injury he suffered kept him out for all of one game (and it was a meaningless game for Sarnia anyways, if it was a playoff game he would have played).

Oh my bad, I heard it was a shoulder injury. I guess we'll see how his PO run goes.

Yeah, no way I want to pick him prematurely. Let's wait to see what our lineup could look like with that pick. Plus I'd rather develop one young inexepensive guy that have that dude shooting all over the Bell Centre ice.
Prematurely? Shooting all over the ice? Nobody wants the Habs to pick up Semin prematurely and shooting all over the ice.

It's time for management to think for the future of the team. .. Coaching staff and Brass won't get a better CV even if they run the table. There's a few out of town games so there's no home crowd to please.

-Give more responsibilities to all the young players.
-Don't play, or limit the icetime of players at risk to aggravate an injury or overtaxed.
-Vets that aren't in the long-term plans should warm the bench.

Out-tanking Minnesota isn't possible. At this point. I do whatever I can to stay ahead of Toronto in the tanking race.

That's good news. At least it's one more guy we can target.

Odds of Winning the 1st Overall Pick - as of March 23rd
48.2% - Columbus Blue Jackets
18.8% - Edmonton Oilers
14.2% - Montreal Canadiens
10.7% - New York Islanders
8.1% - Toronto Maple Leafs
How does the calculation of percentages work? For example, if Columbus hypothetically finishes last (which they will) but within 1 or 2 pts of second place (which is mathematically impossible at this point but play along anyway), would their odds of getting the first overall pick change or is it set at 48.2% ?

Oilers got shutout by the Kings yesterday...

Time to let Stamkos score his 60 goals

3 games left, absolutely must lose to TB and Carolina as both of Toronto's goalies are hurt.
