He was that guy who really liked the Shelley signing right? What can I say, I can resist a touch of goonage.

What a pity. I was hoping to see him get KO'd by Shelley.

A successful shift for Shelley: Making it all the way to the red line and dumping it in without icing it.

No, he's someone else who had an obsession with a terrible player who doesn't belong in the NHL (OKT).

Just play it out in your head:
"Del Zotto passes to Richards. Richards looks, slides it back to Del Zotto. He cranks and fires ... off Shelley's leg. Now it's a foot race. Shelley is breaking away! He gets to the puck and charges for the net. Shelley shoots ... he scores!! What a bullet to the top corner over Lundqvist's glove. 3-1 Flyers with 8 minutes left in the 3rd. Jody Shelley with a beautiful individual effort looking more like a sniper than a fighter on that play."

Yes, Bettman was watching the game and decided not to subsidize the team like Phoenix after that play.

I also see that Walker was on the ice for a goal for us, perhaps even more surprising. Does anybody miss him?

Yes. Yes I do.
Seriously though I don't think any Flyer fan will defend him. He was a mistake, unfortunately.

YOU'VE GIVEN EVERYTHING AWAY! I KNOW WHO'S GOING TO WIN!
You fell victim to one of the classic blunders - The most famous of which is "never get involved in a land war in Manitoba" - but only slightly less well-known is this: "Never go against a Philadelphian, when playoff positioning is on the line"! Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha! Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha! Ha ha ha...
