DD has an open net and misses by a mile, then Brown gived a terrible shot in the slot right into the goalie with the whole right side of the net unprotected. Brown barely even got it off the ice.
Dubnyk is playing well, but most of the Kings shots weren't that great of scoring chances. He's playing sound positionally and that's been enough. Well, that and Ryan Smyth.

Geez give it a ****ing rest. It wasn't a perfect shot just a good save.
He's got zero lanes and nobody attempting to get near the net. No King was within 12 feet of the net that PP. he shoots those and it's going the other way.

Exactly, I'd rather see a player who's smart enough not to shoot when there is no lane than to see them Randy Jones it into the opposing player's shin, leading to a breakaway.

Most of these same people get angry when Stoll and Doughty gun the puck high and wide on a regular basis, when all they think about is shooting. So it is what it is.

Give what a rest? If anything I've defended everyone tonight. It was a terrible shot. Goalie was on his knees at the left post. Brown gets the shot a half foot off the ice and directly where the goalie is playing. If your criteria of a good shot is getting the puck on net then you've watched too much Kings lately. With any accuracy that's a goal top right. Brown has lots of qualities but his shot has been a negative since his draft year scouting report.

Yeah, Richards is a very smart player. It's clear he wanted to shoot but it would have been a negative. he makes a living taking advantage of those plays when he's PK'ing.
You know how many have said in the past that the Kings play down to the level of their opponents? This is a classic example of that. They constantly mishandle the puck, hesitate to shoot, make poor passes, just all around sloppy play. The Kings are fortunate that they're playing the Oilers.
Just curious what you guys think of Brown's dives. We've long been associated with diving but have lessened it recently and I think most of the Canuck fans at this point hate it when our player(s) dive... what do you guys think of Brown? He seems pretty notorious for it. :S
Take care and good luck on the run to the playoffs!

He's a bad skater, falls down a lot, screws up a lot of goalscoring chances too. He also dives. Sometimes it isn't so clear as to what he's doing, but tonight, uh yeah, he's diving.
We're used to it. A lot of people here think we get jobbed by officials on a regular basis (not tonight) so it isn't something a lot of people are really vocal with their dislike about.
