What a great game. Earlier in the season, we would have gotten frustrated and given up because Dubnyk was standing on his head. Now, we just patiently wait it out. So awesome!
Quick with a pretty easy night, but congrats on the shutout and both goalies setting the Kings record of total shut outs in a season!
So, regardless what happens tomorrow in the Pacific games, we stay in third AND, if Dallas beats SJ and SJ loses both games to us, regardless of what Dallas does the remainder of the season, the Sharks miss the playoffs, crazy!
Do we clinch a playoff spot if SJ wins tomorrow?

Mike Richards with another pretty good game. Effort was there all game trying to make things happens, nice assist, and 13/17 faceoffs won.
Kopitar is creating all sorts of space out there and opening up chances for his teammates. He is wreaking literal havoc. I don't care if he's not scoring the last few games, his control and poise has been top notch, and he's racking up the helpers.

10 shutouts in a season for a Kings team. Of course, Quick has them all. So pretty much both are Kings records.
Dean sign this guy July 2nd, 12:01 AM.

No. But with a point on thursday or any loss by Dallas on thursday in addition to tomorrow would lock it up.

Hoping a Vezina comes Quick's way although Lundqvist's exploits aren't helping.

Ladies and Gentlemen, on the current points pace for all teams, 93 points would get the Kings into the playoffs as the #8 seed...
And the Kings already have 93 points.
So, a record of 0-2 to make the playoffs, and 1-1 to win the Pacific title.
They had BETTER not coast these two games, though!

I'd like to thank the (other) bust from the 07 draft for that wonderful shot on the odd man rush.

There's so many things I could say about this game. It was just an amazing effort all the way around. Well deserved two days off ahead.
Sutter is making me look like an idiot.
Kopitar could have had a ton of points tonight but everybody was having trouble finishing, including him.
I was surprised by the lack of celebration from the Kings, both on Dwight's goal, and at the end of the game.

Could be come the favorite if he dominates the Sharks and Hank puts up some stinkers. Congrats on the record and I love Voynov

It sucked. That was all King
I was surprised how little everybody celebrated after it. I thought there would be elation. I guess everybody was just dead tired.

Nope, Stars need a regulation loss and the Kings need at least 1 more point in the next 2 games to clinch.

Only if Dallas loses tomorrow would it have locked it up for us.
And it doesn't lock up the division. Phoenix wins out and they pass us.
Don't be a debby downer!
