Was an amazing pass from Richards, he was just owning fools in the faceoff circle all night, then to finish it off with that assist, unbelievable.

Gotta give props to Sutter for changing the system. This is the team everyone expected before the season.

One goal lead in the third and the kings keep up the pressure. No more sitting back.

King with a great finish on a great pass from Richards.

Voynov is money from the point. He needs to work with doughty.

It's going to be a real treat watching Richards play for the Kings in the playoffs. You can just tell this guy is going to take it to a completely different level, and he has been playing extremely well the last couple of weeks.

Kopitar is creating all sorts of space out there and opening up chances for his teammates. He is wreaking literal havoc. I don't care if he's not scoring the last few games, his control and poise has been top notch, and he's racking up the helpers.
Kopitar's got 8 points in 4 games, 1 goal, 7 assists, I would count that as scoring anyway we look at it, especially this time of year.

I was definitely wrong about Sutter. I thought he'd just be a driver type, lacking emotion and basically the same in terms of playing style as TM.

Could not have been more wrong.

I feel pretty good going into the playoffs, it wasn't the case the last couple stretch runs in past seasons where we backed into the playoffs and get wiped out by Canucks/Sharks. I've been pretty vocal about that in the past.

This year its a different, most of the credit goes to Sutter and his attack style, which is working and it lessens the load on Quick, who is playing sharp! Hope they keep it up!

Huge third period and a big four minute powerplay that was killed and drew momentum for the Kings. Quick is starting to look sharper and more in control. These next two games are going to be huge.

They are certainly ramping up to get to that level. Its that time of the year. I love it, it's going to be awesome to see the Kings roll 4 lines and be in attack mode. Kings are not a team you want to play in the WC playoffs.

Can someone with a DVR and the ability to do so make a gif of Penner doing the head bob on the bench to "I'm sexy and I know it?" It was coming right out of the tv timeout at 8:28 remaining in the 3rd...

Agreed. I was thinking...wtf am I really hearing this? Only hear it when I occasionally, and by that I mean once or twice a season, watch the Lakers. Was pretty awesome though.

Just an opinion from an outsider fan but the team needs more of a killer instinct. Oilers were poor tonight, had little going offensively and were missing their two best dmen (best dmen on a bad team but still).

Need to stay on the gas and convert during the playoffs, Oilers won't come back but other teams will and unfortunately I don't see it happening under Sutter.

I would actually really like to know what Voynov and A-Martz stats are like since the Jack Johnson trade?

Anyone know that one?

I hate the defense chant, but it was nice seeing hearing the fans cheer.

Really? The Kings didn't let up at all in the third. If Dubnyk wasn't unreal for the first two periods, that game would have been a blow out.
