Nice try.
Your calling me a kid,yet you can't understand there is a difference
between mild and minor?

AGAIN as the doctor in Buffalo says there is no such thing as a "minor"concussion.

as so the American Association of Neurological Surgeons

http://www.aans.org/Patient%20Inform...oncussion.aspx

Quote:
Even mild concussions should not be taken lightly. Neurosurgeons and other brain-injury experts emphasize that although some concussions are less serious than others, there is no such thing as a "minor concussion."

I got a concussion as a kid, I had a headache for one day and it had no impact on my life after that. My father is a medical doctor, he was more concerned than I was but even he forgot about it in like a week. I was not told to avoid sports or anything like that, because it was a minor concussion.

Seriously, I would bet that the majority of the league had a concussion at some point in their lives. Head trauma doesn't automatically turn you into Marc Savard.

I never said that to be the case.

The next time Price takes slapshot puck off the mask, or a Lucic cross check to the head for example,or run over, could easily trigger a concussion again .

You get the first one ,the second one is much easier to get.

From what I've been reading over what seems like the last 25,000 posts up here, if you hit the avatar hard enough, you might give it a concussion, and Natey would have to put it on LITR

It would only be a minor concussion though.

Budaj hasn't played too badly. He's not an automatic loss in net. I've actually felt comfortable with him in net for the most part.

The inept team in front of him will keep tank nation happy, but I've been happy with both goalies.

All I have to say is that I am thankful he got hurt during a bad season and NOT before the playoffs. Rest up Pricey!

Dr. Lafleur,

I've been having headaches reading the current thread. I'm also not sure if the Habs should tank or not. Or root for the Leafs. I'm really confused.

(Too bad that fine Mister Gauthier is gone. I really liked that man. Such a visionary.)

I - I - I'm st-st-starting to-to-to-to have a haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaard time getting my thoughts to-to-together. IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII
IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII
IIIIIIIIIIIIIIII

...............................................

Oops. sorry, I fell.

Anyways, as I was going to say before the room started spinning, I'd like to know if you think I should seek some sort of medical help, or if I should just leave this fine thread and open a new one... did you know that I found a solution to all the problems plaguing our beloved team of over 15 years?

So if you think I'm doing fine (could be the extra cheese I put on those tacos) and have nothing to worry about, I'm gonna go ahead and write about how Habs will return to glory by moving their home back to the corner of Sainte-Catherine and Atwater.

If you build it, they will come.

Yours truly,

B-meister

Leafs still have an 'ace' up their sleeve

That left Jussi Rynnas to make his first NHL start against the league's third-highest scoring team. An emergency AHL callup because of James Reimer's upper-body injury, Rynnas stopped 23 shots but didn't have much of a chance with a dispirited team playing in front of him.

I'd say you have a concussion. Don't worry though, it's only minor. And lay off the cheese, you know you're not supposed - I mean allowed - to be eating that stuff.

Me too. Is there any actual news on this? Seems to be a confusing story. TSN said he was having headaches... Does Price have a concussion or not?

Also, while there are no "mild" concussions, that means that no concussion should be taken lightly. Not all concussions cause equal damage, you should know this.
