Craig Berube just said on DNL that "Crosby and Malkin are the two dirtiest players on their hockey team".

Malkin is definitely the dirtiest (now that Cooke has calmed down). Crosby is just extremely chippy more than really dirty

Steve MacIntyre isn't a guy you have out there 8 minutes. More like 2 or 3.

But but we have shelley

I really don't think the pens coaches want anywhere near the flyers bench, chief might not be the peacemaker next time.

One thing I do like about Rinaldo is for his size, he hits like a truck. His legal hits have taken guys out. In a long series, he's going to wear guys down. If he gets a few good ones in early on their top guys, they are going to be off the rest of the series.

Crap! And Grossmann out 7-10 days, according to Holmgren, so we can safely double that. Vitale sure left his mark on this game.

Only one way to respond to this:

"He sends one of yours to the hospital, you send one of his to the morgue!"

Just stoking the fire. Malkin I think you have a case but as long as Cooke is on that team, no matter how he has been this season, he is the dirtiest. Crosby is the biggest baby and such and plays chippy, but I never thought of him as dirty.

Officially vote no confidence for Shanny and the board.

Too busy fining coaches for a bunch of yelling to notice Asham throwing punches on a player who has not dropped the gloves and then going after Rinaldo after everything settles down.

Pitt fans still so butt hurt that our coach would rather drop the gloves himself, rather than cry to the waaaaaaabulance like Blysma does.

They got nobody to blame but themselves. They shouldn't have started officiating the game. It was the too many men on the ice BS call that fired the team up.

Over on the Pens boards, they've filled up like 15 pages just today about how the Flyers and Flyers fans are big cry-babies. Oh the irony...they're crying about us being cry-babies. Meanwhile they have hands down the biggest whiner in the league sitting on their bench.

However I will say that Lavy's reaction was odd and mildly embarrassing while at the same time exciting and hilarious. So many emotions about that incident. I almost think he was mad at himself for putting one of his smaller forwards out for the faceoff and thus putting him in harm's way. And his frustration at himself turned into outrage at the Pens. I really don't know why he put Briere out there especially seeing how chippy the game was getting. The game was in the bag, just defend the zone and leave with the 2 pts. For a guy that read the game so well all night, he really screwed the pooch at the end.

I'd have been happier to just see us end the game and then Lavy starts next weekend with our "goons" which seems to be the buzz word between both Flyers and Pens fans.

Even if the decision to put Briere out there was bad, he has to keep his head up and pay attention. There's only a minute to go. Just keep your head up and ice the puck if you have to.

I gotta say these Pens fans are ridiculous. Everything they say is "Ohh look at our stats 27-4-3." "You'll be sorry." And all this other ********. Its just vague threats and references to 2009 like that measn something to a team with a different coach and like 75% different players. Talk about grasping at straws. The worse was that one guy that claimed since our pk is "middle of the pack" and their pp is "top 10" they win that battle automatically. Pretty stupid to think paper stats is going to decide the entire series.

Their funniest argument as to why they'll win easily is the "oooh, you've pissed off Sid and Malkin" one.

When a normal human being is pissed, it clouds correct judgement, pretty much aiding in stupid ****. Except for Coburn being pissed, because he just smashes everything.

Pens fans sure at good at being blind homers. Crosby did nothing wrong on Sunday, didnt slash Giroux, wasnt giving Schenn the business with his stick right before Schenn planted him on his prissy little ass. Of course thats called.
Whatever. I really dont want to get into any stupid on Saturday. getbackback for the injuries by kicking their ass in their own barn again.

Funny thing about that is... when malkin gets pissed he just takes dumb penalties which helps the other team.

Crosby just starts crying to the refs and then scores on us.

I almost completely agree with you, though I do appreciate keeping up to date on the Internet memes and other clichés. The kids in my Youth Group think I'm pretty cool for a senior citizen.

Penguins lose just because they employ Malkin.
