Sliding to #30 was Adirondack, so you'll all be happy to know they're likely to fall out after next week, meaning the numbers from the outdoor game won't keep them artificially in the HMHL (High Minors Hockey League).

Adirondack has finally slid back out, as I predicted. Somewhat surprisingly, Hamilton also slid out this week, replaced by a resurgent ECHL Florida team (and AHL Norfolk also bounced back in as well).
Given that schedules aren't balanced anyway, let's just scrap conferences and divisions and, for playoff purposes, the top 16 teams make the playoffs (1 vs 16, 2 vs 15, etc).
I'm not a big fan of divisions anyway, just have 2 conferences of 15 teams, east and west, play everyone in your conference 4 times, play everyone in the other once, and you have 9 games (80 game schedule right?) left over for rivalry/promotional games .. top 8 in each conference make playoffs, no silly business of promoting division winners to the top 3
A couple of teams moved within the top 30 over the past week, but no new teams joined the top 30, or fell out of it. From this point forward, only AHL team attendances will be changing, as all other minor pro leagues have completed play.

76 game schedule to eliminate 4 in 5 but added more 3 in 3 and 5 in 7.
It wouldn't be so bad but they put a road game between 2 home games or some BS like that all the time.

Weekends are where the money is, for the most part, so that'll never change. Hershey plays about the usual amount of 3-in-3's, and I counted one 5-in-7. Your Wolves seemed to have no 5-in-7's, and only a handful of 3-in-3's. Overall, I don't think the numbers are that skewed. Seemed like a few more mid-week games thrown into the mix to work around the 4-in-5's, which the owners & NHL poobahs wanted (and got) out.
I actually look for those absurd travel weekends. They're entertaining, as long as you're not trying to get to all the games.
OK, I'm a little late, but here's the final makeup of the 2011-12 "Top 30 League" or whatever you want to call it.
In the last week, Bridgeport actually _lost_ attendance, enough to actually slip out of the Top 30, letting CHL Evansville slide into the back door. With all the other changes, it just got too hard for me to come up with any kind of logical 6-division alignment, so I went back to a four-division alignment -- it's not perfect, of course, but there it is. Oh, and yes, the division names might need some work.
Interestingly enough, the cutoff for the Top 30 was more than 200 fans a game higher this season than it was at the end of 2010-11.
