Start Mayer all 3 games to see if he's ready for the NHL.

true...
would be nice to see both.

Maybe give him an audition for the job Staubitz is currently doing. Schultz was called up earlier in the season but never played. Both guys have the same production in the AHL (although Dumont has scored more goals).

Mayer against Tampa so Stamkos could crack the 70 goal mark.

I really want Dumont to look good, I'm sure he can crack the lineup sooner than people think...

Centering a 4th line betwen White and Staubitz (or ???) should be his goal for next season.

The guy is a less talented version of Max Talbot.

We're pulling out all the spots to get the #2 slot, it seems.

I liked him in training camp, liked him a lot, but he hasn't carried over that momentum from preseason into the regular season.

I do like him though, so I'm glad to see he's getting a shot instead of say Engqvist who we know what he brings and won't be back last year.

I've seen Dumont play about 20 times and he doesn't play anything at all like Max Talbot. If you have seen Scott Nichol play, that is Dumont's game exactly. Which maybe will only produce 10-20 points a year but if he is used on the 4th line, he will do his part better then a guy like Mathieu Darche or Michael Blunden can year through year.

That's why I used the words " less talented"... But he got a big heart like Talbot.
