Actually not really. Just pointed out some people's inconsistencies. Apparently the difference between "oh he's such a great player, best in the conference" and "he's been absolute garbage" is a handful of points.
I think you could ask both Getzlad and Sedin about their regular season and neither would be happy about their own personal performance. Luckily for us though, the one of the two who would be happy about his teams performance plays for our team.

This is exciting. I hope he has as much success as Schroeder did in his first stint in the AHL.
Yay Jensen! With Kassian we now have two big bodied wingers in the system, I can't remember the last time we had that luxury.
Jensen does everything too, and he has an impressive defensive game. MacT is gunna love this kid.
Makes you excited thinking about the possibility of a Jensen-Schroeder-Kassian line when you consider that Schroeder plays very well with bigger wingers. Hopefully Jensen and Kassian develop a good finish though.

FavoritedFavorite · Close Open Details Good attendance at Nucks optional morning skate: 15 players. By number - 1,3,4,5,7,8,9,14,21,25,27,29, 35,40,41. #canucks
Encouraging to see some players (Ballard, Rome) who are injured out at the skate.
Players who didn't attend: Hamhuis, Salo, Kesler, Higgins, D. Sedin, Pahlsson, H. Sedin, Weise.
Puzzled as to why someone like Weise would opt out considering he hardly plays. Obvious D. Sedin would miss due to his injury, and Henrik/Kesler/Salo/Hamhuis/Higgins/Pahlsson missing are all fairly expected.

Weise was actually the absence that leapt out at me as well. Especially given that he was bumped from the lineup by Andrew Ebbett against Calgary.
Got a good feeling about this game, have no idea why. Anaheim is going to show up, so and the PT is at stake, so i think the boys will be ready to go. 4-2, Booth, Burrows, Higgins, Kassian.

While Jensen is big, he doesn't have anywhere near the same mean streak that Kassian have, he's not a big hitter at all, he uses his size to get through traffic and keep people away from the puck.

While it would be nice to have several guys with a major mean streak, a player of this mould is important as well. Trevor Linden was a big bodied guy who didn't shy away from the dirty areas, protected the puck well and fought through traffic. But I don't think anyone would confuse him as having a mean streak.
as mentioned earlier there is a dogfight for draft position, with Ana in race with 6 other teams to decide between 4th and 9thor 10th. Do they really want to win any of these games now ...
