Some examples of box office pricing for Round-1:

Sec 229: $61
Sec 208: $51
Sec 124: $76
Sec 105: $76
Sec 111: $99
Sec 109: $76

Oh, yeah, I didnt notice that. All the prices above should be $6.50 more (i.e. $67.50, 57.50, $82.50 etc...), as above is the box office price, whereas almost everyone buys online. So it's even worse.

I'm going to have to pray and hope the stubhub prices go down this year. I was stoked to have gotten a new job right in time for the playoffs. Money = playoff tickets. But the Devils decided to drive up these prices for some ridiculous reason.

I don't know when they will learn how to price tickets.

Those are playoff games compared to a regular season game though, there's always going to be a markup even if you don't sell out every game. And they pretty much had to increase them over 'premier' regular season game prices because in theory a playoff game should still have more value than even a big regular season game.

They're going to likely have their first non sellouts in the playoffs at the Rock this year, but they pushed the envelope and took a gamble with the ticket prices cause when they came out, it looked very likely we'd be playing an Atlantic Division team. And it's still likely we'd play one in the second round, if we get through the first and all those games would be sellouts, even with higher prices still.

you know, I look through ticketmaster and I don't see that many seats available, maybe 2K. Do they usually provide all of them there?

Or wait for the discounts that the Devils will now predictably (and embarrassingly) be offering for 1st round playoff tickets.

If the Flyers series 2 years ago had SH prices downstairs for ~$40, I don't see the Panthers doing much better.

See you guys on StubHub.

**** Ticketbastard, will never give them my $$

As BG got into with the scam stuff, as events get closer they begin to release tickets that magically become available after the event was apparantly sold out when tickets first went on sale

Yes you're going to get cheaper tickets on stubhub, but all you're doing is buying seats that were already bought. It won't increase the attendance figures at all.

Also, if you're going to home games either tonight or Saturday - buy seats at the Box Office and you don't have to worry about fees.

The Devils did it to themselves if there is an attendance issue. You cannot guilt trip fans into highway robbery. If it was 1998 and the economy was stable and my career field was not as dry as the Sahara then yes, I would pay extra on ticketmaster despite the cost.

Stubhub it is.

What will happen is that the Devils will panic and offer the discounts, which in turn bring the prices back down to regular season prices, which is what sold out Game 1 and 2 last time.

And even those sellouts were not packed houses.

You constantly complain about how the Devils offer discounts for single game tickets for approaching games, yet you continue to buy season tickets in advance anyway.

Well then I apologize to BG, but if he's no longer a season ticket holder, why is he complaining about discounts?

And don't forget should we get to round 2 the prices go up again. In the olden days rounds 1&2 were the same price. All those blue dots on ticketmaster now will be filled with blue a******s for round 2.
