Which is my point. Guy was on the team for a whole year, and participates hard, and when he has a chance to play, some career AHLr gets the call. Nice/Classy -- kind of an a-hole move, in my opinion. Budaj deserves the win, and all you people thinking that an organization is going to deliberately throw a game, has never played competitive sports, probably due to a lack the competitive ability to rise to challenges, preferring to look for excuses to fail.

The Habs had a hard year, doesn't mean some of these players don't have pride and a sense of team.

+ the guy is paid 1 and 1/2 million to play a dozen games... Not bad.

Just a thought - maybe you're taking my post a little too seriously? I don't really expect them to do it . . .

Why do I have the feeling he will come in, and get 3 shutouts?

Mayer and Dumont

Probably two players who will have to go to school in order to make a living, but hey! who knows? they might not fluke their shot.

Thanks Carey. Perfect tank strategy if you happen to play Mayer in one of those 3 games.

Calling up Dumont should have been done before.
I would have liked to see Schultz as well.

oh i more or less know who they are, i was just playin. and chuckling in my head at the lineup we're icing. you know, this type of season gets longs, and some mild delerium flares up from time to time. i'm just anxious about finishing as high (low) as possible for that pick to at least not leave empty handed and ease some of the hurtin' we've all had to endure!

i just want stammer to hit 60 and 100 in the last 3 he got. and i can't wait for the last game against toronto. i wonder what will be at stake? it will be a real bizzaro of circumstances that'd they'd be fighting/not fighting for. some kind of inner conflict. must win or must lose?

Schultz just came back from injury the other day and he does not look right, likely rushed back since the Dogs had a slim playoff hope. Let him get a callup next year when he's 100%.

Gabriel Dumont to wear #37, Robert Mayer #65

Confirmed numbers.

Let's hope Dumont does better than Sundstrom in a Habs jersey.

Sundstrom, couldn't get the puck out with seconds left against Tampa in game 3 in 2004, would have made it 2-1. Instead Lecavalier ties the game and Richards wins it in OT. Still remember that game like it was yesterday, was there with 3 buddies and were all crushed

That's what I remember of Sundstrom

Regardless I dont think we would have beaten that tampa team. It was no coincidence they win the stanley cup.

Every team that beats us goes on to win the Cup or reach the finals it seems

I do agree, that was a hell of a team but who knows what happens

Stamkos has 2 goals in 7 games at the Bell Center, hopefully he doubles his output tonight

Excited to see how Dumont plays as well.

I hope he gets 1 goal tonight with say 2 assists. I'd love for him to hit 60 goals against the Leafs in his home province.

I think Mayer actually sucked on purpose this year, he knew he would get a call-up for the tank.
