Sharks PR guy was taking pictures right in front of him so he was scrunching down to fit in the pic.
No word on if Tennyson will play. My gut says yes - we're pretty much out of a playoff spot so I think they'll be playing the new guys.
They better not until we officially get the e. I dont think they did last year with Acolatse until we were officially eliminated. Doherty may have played one game before elimination. Would be typical SJ procedure though.

No #WorSharks on the #AHL All-Rookie team for 11-12, but our rookie Sena Acolatse could easily beat up the all those guys so that's better.
Sharks rookie Sebastian Stalberg has made a favorable first impression as he begins his pro career, so much so that last night he found himself at right wing on Worcester’s first line, skating with John McCarthy and Tim Kennedy.
Pretty much the whole column is about Stalberg. He also rang one off the inside post.
Tennyson played well - looked like he belonged out there. Was paired with Moore to start the game, then it changed up a little. Probably a veteran presence to start and since he looked fine, Sommer trusted him enough to switch it up.

Worcester coach Roy Sommer is just one loss away from tying Frank Mathers for the most coaching defeats in AHL history. Mathers finished with 512, all with Hershey.

Cant wait to see the celebratory on ice presentation for that one! Some brutal AHL stats courtesy of Ballou over the last couple weeks....7 of 11 years missing the playoffs. Outscored basically 2-1 in the third period during this stretch run....Being outscored 6-4 by Manchester on our PP this year....Two years in a row a complete collapse in March....I have never been too outspoken against Sommer because of the players he is given but it adds up.
Maybe being overly sensitive here but Tennyson playing before elimination pisses me off. I paid and watched this crap all year (all 6 years) and at least they could wait until they were eliminated before playiing more scrubs. I forgot Pelech was still suspended but O'Hanley sits. Imagine SJ calling up Doherty and playing him tonight agains LA instead of a healthy Braun or Demers.
