Seems like a lot of Rangers fans (I've also noticed Sens, Bruins, and Canucks fans) want us to beat the Pens. Can't say I'll complain about the support, for once it doesn't feel like its us against the world in regards to when we play them. But first things first, take care of business tonight. I know the Rangers fans would prefer if we win it will be in ot or s/o, but we need to win and dominate this game, we are 0-5 against New York, we need something to grab onto going into the playoffs. Plus the Rangers and Pens play each other next so you can clinch against them then

I feel the same way... historically the Rangers are really our true #1 rival and this season has reignited some of that. The Devils were the nemesis of the late 90's and early 2000's and now of course its the Penguins. I think for me its the fact that I deal with Penguins fans on a regular basis and at least against the Devils and Rangers a fair game is called. When its all said and done the Rangers are the big rival with the Devils and Penguins going through cycles of being good and bad and I look at them being temporary gnats of annoyance.

I feel the same. Although its just because I hate the pens so much. I still hate the rags though, except for Ryan Callahan. Dudes a player, wish he were wearing orange and black.

I agree and I think it because I have respect for both the Rangers players (a vast majority of them) and for the very few fans that I have interacted with over my life time.

I have zero respect for the Pens, their organization, or their fans. The fact they failed their way to a cup (for five straight years), lucked their way into Crosby thanks to the lockout, and their fans act like they are fantastic because of it sickens me.

If that shift was four seasons ago, we'd have four PP's already.

Great start by the Flyers you can see the urgency to win this game. It would be nice to get the lead early, this isn't a team that really allows many 2-0 comebacks with Henrik in net.
