Same here. He's got one helluva shot and I've always thought he reads the play pretty well. Would like to see him on the point instead of Read, but at the same time, that second unit isn't exactly made to score on deflections from the point.

If he takes a discount, Homer might consider resigning him.

It better be around 1.5M a year if not less.

What a fricken plug and he's rubbed me the wrong way so far. He's twice the size of Asham, was the biggest player on the ice and did nothing. Fine, don't fight but at least jump on the guy when you see him throwing fists at Schenn
I hope we sign him to an extension.

Kubina is a big presence on the ice and replaces Pronger pretty well. I'm thinking Kubina is not a 100% right now but when he is watch the shot from the point. I would resign for next year as well as Grossmann, both have fit in well on the Flyers team.

I think he will be more impressive during the playoffs. Can't teach experience.

Kubina has been a replacement level player at best since he got here.

As advertised when the trade happened, Kubina looks AHL at best.

Kubina just had what could be the worst period of any Flyer this year.

When he is out on the ice he looks like he doesn't even care. I don't like his demeanor at all.

it's time for Kubina to get the old Yeller treatment

As he was a long time Leaf, how much playoff experience do you think he has?

Kubina said he didn't want to move his family again and suggested a home team discount.....based on his performance thus far with the Flyers..injured or not....I hope he's ready to break the news to his family that he's moving to Winnipeg. Maybe Bryz can deliver the message along with a care package complete with thermos and hot tea.....

Umm. He spent the majority of his career with TB and he won a cup with them.

Yeah somewhat although Modry was really bad. I hope Kubina isnt as bad although he looks like a hybrid of Kukonen, Parent and Modry right now.
